Instructions
Step 1
Slice the garlic and the muschrooms.
Step 2
Put the butter in a pan on medium heat and add the garlic, let cook for one minute. Add the sliced mushrooms, salt, and pepper, and continue to cook until the mushrooms are soft and begin to brown.
Step 3
Add the linguine to the pan with the vegetable broth and stir to combine. Don't worry if the broth doesn't submerge the pasta, it's fine ;)
Step 4
Cover the pan, turn the heat up to medium-high and allow the broth to come up to a boil. When it reaches a boil, stir then cover again and turn the heat down to medium-low.
Step 5
Continue to let the pasta simmer in the broth until the pasta is "al dente". There should be a little saucy liquid left in the bottom of the pan.
Step 6
Add the heavy cream to the pasta and stir to combine. Turn the heat off and add the Parmesan then stir the pasta until the Parmesan is melted.
Step 7
I personally add a bit of paprika. Bon appétit !
