Instructions
Step 1
Cook Macaroni for 9 minutes
Step 2
In a medium saucepan, melt butter, add onions and garlic and a pinch of salt and cook until translucent and aromatic. Add flour and stir with wooden spoon until mixed with no lumps. (About 2 minutes).
Step 3
Add Chicken Stock and Eggs stir with whisk until mixed. Bring to Medium Boil
Step 4
Lower heat and add Half and Half, Cheddar and Mascarpone Cheese. Simmer for 30 minutes and stir so cheese does not burn, do not boil.
Step 5
Serve with Parmesan Cheese and Pillsbury Parmesan Breadsticks.
Step 6
Place macaroni in large serving pan, pour in above cheese mixture and mix thoroughly.
Step 7
Add about a 1/2 cup of Breadcrumbs to cover top of Macaroni and cheese.
Step 8
Bake for 20 minutes at 350 or until breadcrumbs start turning dark brown.
