Instructions

Step 1
Add the flour, yeast, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to a large mixing bowl.
Step 2
Make a well with a wooden spoon and add the olive oil and warm water. Mix until dough forms. Add more water if too dry or more flour if too wet.
Step 3
Lay a 12 inch long piece of plastic wrap on a clean surface. Work the dough into a rectangle on the plastic. Press your fingers into the dough making indentations. Fold the left third of the dough over and repeat indentations. Fold the right third over and repeat indentations. Cover the folded dough with plastic wrap and let rise for a minimum of 20 minutes. (You can preheat your oven to its lowest temperature and then turn it off right before putting the dough in on a baking sheet with the light on so that it rises well).
Step 4
Preheat oven to 550 degrees. Grease a rimmed baking sheet. Stretch the dough onto the baking sheet, being careful not to tear it, until it covers the sheet.
Step 5
Microwave butter and garlic until melted. Add a Sprinkle of Italian seasoning if desired. Pierce dough with a fork all over and spread garlic butter over the dough with a brush. Save approximately 1 tbls of garlic butter on the side.
Step 6
Add desired sauce, cheese, and toppings. Bake for 10 minutes at 550 degrees and an additional 3 minutes on broil until top is golden and cheese is melted.
Step 7
Brush remaining garlic butter on crust, slice pizza in squares and serve warm.
