Ingredients
18 servings
1 cuppitted medjool dates
¼ cupnut butter
2 cupsrolled oats
½ cupchopped nuts
¼ cupcraisins
0.25chocolate chips
/dark chocolate chunks, optional
2 scoopsvanilla protein powder
or plain
2 cupswater

Instructions
Step 1
Bring 2 cups of water to boil
Step 2
Coarsely chop nuts
Step 3
Remove water from fire, add all the dates. Allow to soak for ten minutes
Step 4
Remove dates from water and add to high powered blender or food processor.
Step 5
Add 2-4 tablespoons of water to smooth out the dates if necessary. The consistency should look like creamed brown sugar.
Step 6
Add dates to a large bowl

Combine nut butter with the dates and mix well
Step 8
Add protein powder and fold until fully incorporated
Step 9
Add rolled oats and mix until well combined
Step 10
Add nuts, craisins, chocolate chips and fold until incorporated
Step 11
Line an 8x8 dish with parchment paper. Transfer mixture to dish and smooth out
Step 12
Place in refrigerator for an hour or bake at 170 F for 20 minutes
Step 13
Remove from dish, cut into bars and enjoy!
