Ingredients

chicken thighs
skinon, bone in
500gplain yogurt
½ tspground turmeric
½ tspchilli powder
1green chilli
large, deseeded and finely sliced
2 tspground cumin
2 tspground coriander
1 tspground cinnamon
2 Tbsppaprika
½ tspground cloves
5 cmfresh root ginger
piece, peeled and grated
3garlic cloves
minced
½ tspsalt
0.5juice of lemon
Instructions

1 In a mixing bow large enough to hold the chicken thighs, add all the ingredients

for the marinade and mix well until everything is fully combined. Add the

chicken thighs, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

2 Preheat the oven to 220°C/430°F/gas 7. Remove the chicken thighs from the

marinade and wipe off any excess, then lay in a single layer on a roasting pan

and roast for 35-40 minutes or until the chicken is golden, cooked through and

tender. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
