Instructions

Step 1
Heat a large pot/dutch oven over medium/low heat and preheat oven to 300°F
Step 2
Chop the onions, bell pepper, celery, and garlic then set aside
Step 3
To the pot add in the ground chuck and breakfast sausage. Blend the meat together season with about a teaspoon of salt and allow to cook until brown and crumbled.
Step 4
Once browned, use a strainer to remove the meat from the pot and then set aside the meat returning the pot to the flame.
Step 5
Drop a stick of butter into the pot and allow to melt; once melted then add chopped veggies and beef bouillon. Cook vegetables down about 25 - 30 minutes
Step 6
Once time has elapsed, add meat back into the pot and stir to combine with vegetables.
Step 7
Now add chicken stock and stir to blend
Step 8
Follow that with the cajun seasoning, browning sauce, and water. Stir and raise heat to high. Add in rice and stir.
Step 9
Once you've reached a boil, cover, turn off heat, and place pot in the oven.
Step 10
Allow to bake to bake for one hour before removing from oven
Step 11
Once removed from oven allow pot to sit for at least 5 minutes before uncovering. After those 5 minutes, uncover, stir, and enjoy
