Instructions

Step 1
Over medium-high heat add avocado oil to a skillet, add fennel slices and cook until one side has browned (about 3-4 min) before flipping over and seasoning to your taste with sea salt, onion powder and cayenne pepper. Cook until other side has browned (another 3-4 min), place in bowl and set aside.
Step 2
Using the same skillet reduce heat to medium, add avocado oil and sauté ginger and habanero pepper until fragrant. Mix in sticky sauce ingredients and simmer until bubbles form before mixing in chickpeas. Cook on medium low until sauce thickens (about 5 min).
Step 3
Top chickpeas with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with quinoa and fennel.
