This was actually pretty good! I used my slow cooker on high for 2 hours and it was delicious. I used tomato paste instead, could have spiced it up a bit more but very flavorful and made leftovers.

Would you say with tomato paste instead of chipotle, the spice level would be good for kids?

I would also adjust the cumin and paprika to taste if I was making it for kids, it depends on the child. Paprika is fairly mild but cumin can be spicy.
