Delicious! 3 pounds/1.3kg of onion is a LOT, basically a whole bag. Definitely need to make in the biggest pot, with a very good quality stock. Added some Worcestershire sauce and truffle butter seasoning. Served with cheese toasties for dipping and actually makes about 8 servings that way.
