I cooked my spaghetti ahead of time because of Christmas parties and things, and I had to use Italian pork sausage instead of chicken sausage because it was not available in our store. I used just over a pound of brussels sprouts and shredded them. I had to use a bit more olive oil, like probably two or 3 tablespoons more of olive oil during the cooking process, to ensure the moisture set in, and I added garlic and thyme to my spaghetti. In the refrigerator, it melded nicely.
I only used a pound of the sausage, and with 8 ounces of spaghetti, it works well; however, I purchased quite a few more brussels sprouts for other parties and used a bit more for the brussels sprouts and ended up using 16 ounces of spaghetti so I put 2 pounds of sausage in this beautiful dish. My husband had seconds! I like the Health score on this dish and how easy it is and he will get it for lunches at work and I will be able to have some for leftovers till my next dish which I’ve scheduled in this Samsung app. I love this app!
