Have made these several times. I cook manual - pressure for 40 min. Very tender. I do not add bbq sauce in pot. My pref - I just think the bbq sauce gets too thin. I add 1/4 c water and the spices- no liquid smoke.
When done, remove from pot. Place on baking dish and smother with your favorite BBQ sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray's). Put in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 min.
