I made some modifications to this recipe as I wanted maximum bacon flavor without having to use as much actual bacon. I also wanted to cut down on the carbs a little. I also doubled the amount as I wanted to freeze in meal sizes. First modification was to leave the bacon in when sauteing the onions and garlic. Then I added a 2 lb. Bag of corn still mostly frozen. Next I added the potatoes, broth and seasonings Being cautious of salt. Then finished as directed.
