Made this to the recipe with the addition when adding the garlic of dried sage and fennel seeds, which in my opinion are a perfect match with most pork dishes. I also added a tin of drained canelinni beans at the same time as adding the pear slices, which were ripe and really just needed warming through with the beans. I made the four servings. Two of us shared half the recipe between us with the other half being frozen when cooled for another time.
