The instructions werent clear about whether to mix the cornbread in or to put it on top. I put it on top.
I did not cover and i only had it in the oven until the cornbread browned...about 20 minutes.
I used seasoned chili beans instead of plain pintos.
I added a can of black beans.
I added chopped onions and cooked them with the meat.
It came out really good with leftovers since there are only 2 of us.
