It is okay. I added a ;it more chili powder. Still not enough really. Used San Marzano crushed tomato. Amazing imported taste like nothing else. Added 1/2 bottle North Coast - Old Rasputin beer. A Russian imperial stout. Very rich full tasting stout.
I used 2 14.5 cans chili beans so that might be why it needs more flavor from spices. I would addin more salt and maybe cumin next time. Maybe some garlic powder and onion powder. That would add the right flavor I think.
Also after sampling again with more chili powder and garlic powder, I'd say about 1 cup or maybe 3 or 4 of them little cans of green chili's would've good on it.
Had to add in 1more thing I forgot.
Mustard. Always using chili. It transforms the flavor. I just added it in to my bowl. Made a big difference as usual.
I use a small squirt per bowl . That would maybe a 1/2 tsp in a store bought can of chili.
Don't usetoomuch. It will make it taste bad. Just enough is amazing
