Delicious!! Such a lovely treat to have hanging out in the freezer.
I have several silicone candy molds and ended up using them all for these tasty babes. (Flowers, leaves, jewels etc.) The extra time to spoon into molds really made these treats feel extra special.
My notes:
I toasted the pecans and placed them either inside the mold beforehand or on top afterward—for a cleaner look I suggest the latter. I also added 1 teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon. My nut butter combo was 1/2cup almond butter and 1 cup sunflower seed butter. I used dark maple syrup which added a rich underlying element I’m a big fan of. I also topped them off with a few small flakes of pink salt. ✨🤌🏼
This will be a lovely recipe to play around with ingredient and flavors wise. I can see myself adding coconut, using different nut and seed butters, using date syrup/agave, different extracts or carob etc.
