Not the easiest or fastest, but I make a few shortcuts that work for me. In the end, I have a delicious, home cooked lasagna that feeds the family for more than 2 nights.
I don't make my own pasta...store bought all the way.
I also use store bought sauce (I prefer Barilla brand Roasted Garlic). I sautéed the onion and garlic until soft and then added ground beef and sausage (cut out of the casing). Add 2 jars of sauce and the spices from the recipe. Simmer for at least 90 minutes before assembling the lasagna.
It's my go-to when I'm craving lasagna!
