Real easy to make, and pairs well with any/all those little sauce cups that you always have leftover from fast food joints. Great party snack!
Keep an eye on the oil! The cold chicken cools down the oil rapidly, so keep it on medium high heat to compensate. Measure temperature regularly (also, don’t overheat the oil, it’ll make your apartment smell like a McDonalds kitchen and burn the fu- ‘heck’ outta your eyes).
After initial breading, and just before you drop the chicken in the oil, give it a secondary toss in the breading mixture for a crispier result. The chicken juice/condensation will wet the breading as it sits out between batches, so this helps with that too.
Make sure to save the excess breading mixture and oil for future use!
