The mochi was very soft & suuuper sticky! Handling and shaping was pretty hard (wish I'd looked up tips to save my hands from the serious coating). Alterations: I pounded the mochi with a rolling pin (based on a friend's suggestion) and used pre-made lotus seed paste. The mochi is mildly sweet and paired well!
