Smelled so good when searing the chicken before going in the crockpot (picture above). One thing I tried was brining the chicken before rubbing with herbs and searing and the chicken was falling apart when we went to cut into it. I set it in the brine while prepping all the ingredients, then dried, rubbed, seared and placed in the crockpot mixture and let slow cook on low for about 5 hours. Served on top of steamed rice. Delicious!
