I made a double batch of kielbasa for the cup and a half of rice and a batch of the sauce that was 8x the amount it called for (a half cup of butter and everything scaled to match!). Definitely wanted leftover sauce and a bit of meat to heat up later and fresh rice is the best way to go. I would suggest adding some extra spices to the sauce as it is ok as written but better with some extra pizzazz. I'll edit with what I have added to future iterations so you can steal an idea for your own :)
