Mexican Black Beans
Instructions
Prep:5minCook:5min
There is no doubt that beans are a staple in Mexican culture, where almost daily a pot of freshly made beans with their broth is prepared and is waiting to be enjoyed by everyone in the family. A favourite way of serving freshly cooked beans is straight from the pot with a bit of the broth, like some sort of stew. This is then followed by a simple garnish such as finely chopped onion, tomatoes, chillies or coriander. It’s such a simple and humble combination of flavours, yet so perfect. Here at Gran Luchito, we have done all the work that cooking Mexican beans from scratch requires. Our lovely Cantina Beans (black beans with their juices) are waiting for you to warm them up, and serve them as a quick lunch or lazy dinner. We hope this will become a new favourite in your home too. Let us know how it goes!
