Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven oven 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

Whisk flour and cornstarch together and set aside
Step 3
Mix together butter and sugars until creamy.
Step 4
Add egg yolk and maple syrup, beating until well mixed.
Step 5
Gradually add flour and cornstarch mixture and pecans.
Step 6
Measure dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
Step 7
Bake for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown on bottom.
Step 8
For Glaze: Combine butter, powdered sugar, and maple syrup. Then slowly add enough milk to make the mixture smooth.
Step 9
Dip cookies in glaze and garnish with chopped pecans
