Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 f, 170 fan
Step 2
Dissolve yeast and 0.5 tbsp sugar in 210 ml warm water
Step 3
Whisk oil into this before beating in the eggs, 1 at a time, with the remaining sugar and salt
Step 4
Gradually mix in the flour until the dough holds together
Step 5
Knead onto a moderately floured surface (up to a 1/4 cup) and knead until amooth
Step 6
Return to cleaned, greased bowl and leave to proof for an hour until doubled in size
Step 7
Punch down, cover, and proof for another 30 mins
Step 8
Mould into a bread shape and egg wash before proofing one more hour
Step 9
Bane for 35 to 40 minutes until golden
