Ingredients

250gminced beef
1 clovesgarlic
1 x 400gchopped tomatoes
1 tablespoontomato puree
100mlwater
2beef stock cubes
Dried herbs

Instructions
Step 1
On a white chopping board, finely chop the onion and garlic.
Step 2
Dice your other vegetables. (This can be completed at home if you feel you won’t have time in lesson).
Step 3
Warm the oil in a wok. Add the onion and pepper (and carrot and / or bacon if using) until soft, about 3 - 5 mins.
Step 4
Add the mince and cook until browned, stirring OCCASIONALLY to stop lumps forming. Add the garlic, mushrooms, stir for 2 mins.
Step 5
Add the tomatoes, puree, stock cubes, herbs, salt and pepper and water
Step 6
Bring to boiling point and simmer on a low heat so it's bubbling steadily. Allow to simmer for as long as possible.
