Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 and grease an 8x8 baking pan.
Step 2
Combine the sugar (1 cup - save the extra 2 tbsp for later!) flour, salt, and baking powder.
Step 3
Whisk in the milk and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Whisk in the melted butter.
Step 5
Transfer the batter to a greased 8x8 pan, then add the blackberries and evenly distribute them in the batter.
Step 6
Sprinkle the 2 tbsps of sugar on top, then place in the oven and bake at 350 for 60 minutes.
Step 7
Once it’s out of the oven, sprinkle some sugar on top then serve warm - enjoy!
