Instructions
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and stew them gently until soft and translucent.
Step 2
Stir in the tomato sauce and reduce the heat. Add the drained tuna, breaking it into smaller pieces with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, and a few basil leaves. Cover the pan and let the sauce simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Boil the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions.
Step 4
Drain the pasta and add it directly to the pan with the sauce. Stir well to coat the pasta evenly. Let it cook with the sauce for 1–2 minutes. Serve immediately.
