medium, peeled and cubed

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the Turkey Patties:

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese (if using), chopped onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Form the mixture into 3 turkey patties.
Step 4
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the turkey patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Green Beans:

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the trimmed and halved green beans to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Prepare the Mashed Sweet Potatoes:

Place the peeled and cubed sweet potatoes in a pot of boiling water. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.

Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.

Mash the sweet potatoes using a potato masher or fork.

Stir in the butter (or dairy-free alternative) and maple syrup (if using). Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
