Instructions

Step 1
Throw cumin seeds in mortar and grind until coarse powder.

Cut paneer in 2 cm cubes and fry them in a large pan in a thin coat of oil on high heat, until all sides are golden brown. Transfer to paper towelled dish.

Add some extra oil to the pan and add garlic, chilli, cumin and black pepper. Sautee for 3 minutes on low heat

Step 4
Mix in tomato puree & sugar before adding the paneer with a splash of water

Cover the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Take lid off the pan and add the spring onion. Let it simmer until no water is left
