Step 1
After mincing the garlic, add all of the ingredients (minus the cornstarch and water) to a pot.
Step 2
Bring the pot to a boil and reduce the heat to let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, make a cornstarch slurry with the cornstarch and 3tbsp of water.
Step 3
Add the slurry to the pot on the heat and quickly stir. The sauce will thicken up quickly and will be ready in no time. If it comes out too thick, add some water to your liking. Enjoy!
