Step 1
Stir to combine all dry ingredients. Cut in shortening into fine corn meal size, the added butter in much bigger chunks. Add water and fold with a fork just until no dry patches. Divide into 3 discs. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in fridge at least 30 minutes.
