Instructions

Step 1
Melt half a stick of butter and cook onions until translucent.

Add garlic, Mrs Dash and paprika.

Step 3
Add flour and stir until it dissolves, add 2 cups of chicken stock (4 for a more brothy texture)

Step 4
Reduce to med heat, cover for 5 minutes or until thick.
Step 5
Stir in half and half, add your broccoli followed by your shredded carrots and mix.

Step 6
Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until broccoli has reached the desired tenderness.
Step 7
Add the cheddar cheese slowly, stirring it in as you go.
