Booza ashta
Booza Ashta with Pistachios
Ashta
1 cup of milk
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons of flour
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 tablespoons rose water
In a sauce pan combine all of these ingredients and whisk them until it's completely dissolve. Turn on the stove to medium low and placed a sauce pan on top whisk it until you notice it getting sick once it starts to bubble at the bottom of the pan remove from the heat and let it cool down.
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
1 14 ounce can of condensed milk
1 1/2 cup of pistachios chopped
1 tablespoons of rosewater
1 teaspoon of orange blossom water optional
In the mix or whip up your heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks.
In another bowl add the ashta, condensed milk rose water and orange blossom mix the add 1/2 cup pistachios combine fold in the heavy whipping cream place in the freezer 4 hours, if it's not frozen put it back in the freezer until it's frozen again. Take it out spread it in plastic wrap evenly and spread out 1/2 pistachio in the middle roll it up nice and slow. Cover it with plastic wrap and aluminum foil place it back into the freezer for another 4 hours. Take it back out again covering it with the rest of the pistachios all over it putting it back into the freezer again overnight it take it out for the next day and enjoy.
