Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place the spare ribs in a large pot, and fill with just enough water to cover the ribs.

Add the instant coffee and rice wine vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil and then boil for an additional 10 minutes, until cooked through.

In a small bowl, add the barbecue sauce, gochujang, garlic powder, sesame oil, and ginger powder. Mix well to combine, and set aside.

Carefully drain the ribs in a colander, and rinse throughly under cold water

Transfer the ribs to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the ribs, mixing well to evenly coat the ribs.
Step 7
Place the ribs on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space in between each piece. Bake for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Change the oven setting to broil. Broil ribs under medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until slightly charred and caramelized.
Step 9
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve while hot.
