Ingredients

2 TBSPtamari sauce
divided
1 tspfresh ginger
grated
2cloves garlic
minced
¼ tspchili flakes
3 ozshrimp
peeled and deveined
2 rashersbacon
cut into 1/2 inch bits
¼ cupbell pepper
chopped
1 cupriced cauliflower
¼ cupedamame
or snap peas
1egg
large, lightly beaten
¼ cupgreen onions
sliced, for garnish
sesame seeds
for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine 1 TBSP tamari sauce, ginger, garlic, and chili flakes. Add shrimp, cover, and marinate in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight, if you prefer.
Step 2
Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add the bacon (or oil) and heat, then stir in the shrimp, reserving the marinade, until well coated.
Step 3
Add bell pepper, cauliflower, edamame (or snap peas), and marinade and stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes or until shrimp are pink and firm to the touch
Step 4
Push the cooked ingredients to the side of the skillet and add the egg to the centre. Stir-fry until egg is well cooked, about 30 seconds.
Step 5
Scoop the stir-fry into a bowl, setting the shrimp on top. Drizzle with the remaining tamari sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
