Plum Jam recipe given to me by Betty in 2007. Printed from The Great British Kitchen website which no longer exists. Simple recipe great results

Instructions

Step 1
Makes around 8 jars. Put plums in large saucepan and add the water. Bring to boil, cover and reduce gently until fruit is tender (around 10-20 minutes). Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Bring jam to the boil. Boil briskly for 10-15 minutes until boiling point is reached ( 105 degrees). Remove stones with perforated spoon as soon as they rise to top of pan. If you wish, add butter to disperse scum. Pot & cover. Enjoy! Thank you Betty ☺️
