Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken Bites

Instructions

Step 1
Season the chicken with salt, garlic and onion powder. Set aside.
Step 2
Whisk together all the ingredients for the dry flour. Set aside.
Step 3
Mix 1/2 cup of the prepared dry flour mix with 1/3 cup of water.
Step 4
Add the wet batter to the chicken and mix well. Then add the remaining dry flour mix and mix until no more dry flour is visible.
Step 5
Fry the chicken for about 3 minutes or until the chicken is golden in colour. Remove and let the chicken rest as you fry the remaining. Double fry if necessary.
Step 6
Heat butter in a pan, and sauté the garlic.
Step 7
Then add the honey, soy sauce and sugar and cook for a few minutes.
Step 8
Add the fried chicken and toss well.
