Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the Base: In a bowl, mix the desiccated coconut, powdered sugar, and salt.

Add Condensed Milk: Stir in the condensed milk and vanilla extract until the mixture comes together.

Divide the Mixture: Split the mixture in half.

Color the Second Half: Add a few drops of food coloring (the color of your choice) to one half of the mixture. Stir until evenly colored.

Layer the Coconut Ice: In a small tray, press the uncolored coconut mixture into the bottom to form a layer. Then, layer the colored coconut mixture on top, pressing down to compact it.

Chill: Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until the coconut ice is firm.
