Instructions
Step 1
Bloom yeast in warm water and let sit somewhere warm

In the bowl of a stand mixer, add hot water to sugar and salt

And milk, oil, and bloomed yeast

Add flour and mix with a spatula until a shaggy dough forms

Attach dough hook and start mixing on low speed

Add flour as it mixes until dough starts to climb hook (about 15 minutes of mixing)

Place the dough in a covered, greased bowl somewhere warm to rise

After about 20 minutes, stretch and fold the dough

After another 20 minutes, stretch and fold a second time

Let rise 20 more minutes

While dough finishes rising, butter and flour your baking dish

Evenly divide dough into 12 rolls and shape into balls

Place in dish

Cover with plastic and let rise somewhere warm until doubled in size

While rolls rise, preheat oven to 350

Bake until golden brown, around 35 minutes
