Step 1
Heat the oven to whatever temperature is appropriate for the type of fish (google it). For breaded cod it’s 200°C fan for 20 mins.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes with salt, covered, and after a few mins add on a steamer with the carrots & peas. Also covered.
Step 3
10 mins before fish done, make the white sauce. Melt the butter over a medium-low heat, mix in the flour, and whisk in a little of the milk at a time until you have a smooth sauce. KEEP WHISKING LIKE IT’S YOUR JOB. BECAUSE IT IS. YOU HAVE TO EAT. Take off the heat and add salt & pepper.
