Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350° and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. In the bowl of a stand mixer beat butter, granulated sugar and vanilla on medium speed until light and fluffy, 3-5 minutes.

2. In a separate bowl stir together the flour, baking soda and salt. While the mixer is on a low speed, add in the egg and milk and then slowly add in the flour mixture until just combined. Use a small cookie dough scoop to make 24 even dough balls. Roll each ball in the nonpareils.
Step 3
3. Space each cookie approximately 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes, or until the edges are just set. Remove from the oven and gently press a Hershey Kiss in the center of the each cookie. Let cool for 2 minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack to completely cool.
