Lemon poppyseed loaf
Delicious and fresh lemon poppyseed loaf

Ingredients
6 servings
2eggs
1 cupamasi
½ cupsunflower oil
or melted margarine
1 cupsugar
or half if you don't like it sweet
2 cupsflour
3 teaspoonspoppyseed
2 teaspoonsRoyal baking powder
1 teaspoonlemon zest
grated
1 teaspoonlemon essence
oil
Grease your loaf pan
5 Tbspicing sugar
For the icing I, Mix well and drizzle over the cake once cool
2 Tbspmilk
Instructions
Step 1
Important !Please preheat your stove to 180 for 15min before baking.
Step 2
Mix all wet ingredients in a big bowl once done sift flour and baking powder together into your wet ingredients. Add the remaining dry and mix (please do not overmix)
Step 3
Grease your loaf pan with oil/butter/baking spray.
Step 4
Half fill the mix to your loaf pan so that they will rise properly.
Step 5
Bake for 15/20 min and enjoy
Step 6
For the icing I used 5 tbsp of icing sugar and 2 tbsp of milk. Mix well and drizzle over the cake once cool.
