Instructions
Step 1
Cook and drain macaroni until al dente. Meanwhile melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add 1/4 cup flour until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add 2 cups milk, stirring constantly. Cook until sauce is thiccccc.
Step 3
Add parsley, salt, and cayenne. Remove sauce from heat.
Step 4
Add cream cheese and 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar and stir until cheese is melted.
Step 5
Add macaroni to sauce and stir gently.
Step 6
Pour into large greased oven dish. ake at 250F for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake another 10 minutes.
