Instructions
Step 1
Peel and slice the potatoes.
Step 2
Heat 1tbsp olive oil in the frying pan and fry the potato slices from both sides until golden. Add salt and pepper and set aside(add more oil if needed)
Step 3
Preheat oven to 190C(fan)
Step 4
Spread 2tbsp of tomato sauce on the bottom of the baking dish(diameter 22cm)
Step 5
Layer 1/3 of your potato slices on top of the sauce.
Step 6
In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, chopped coriander, 1tbsp olive oil, garlic, nutmeg, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix well and form 16 meatballs.
Step 7
Place them on top of the potatoes, then add the remaining potato slices in between.
Step 8
Add remaining tomato sauce on top and bake for 25 minutes.
Step 9
Then, add cheese on top and bake for another 20minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Step 10
Garnish with chopped coriander and enjoy!
