Instructions
Step 1
Rub the whole celeriac with oil and cover generously with salt.
Step 2
Bake at 180°C for 90-120 minutes.
Step 3
Peel the roasted celeriac, then cut into thick disks and score each disk like shown in the video.
Step 4
Finish the steaks in a pan with olive oil, vegan butter, thyme (or rosemary) and garlic until perfectly golden brown.
Step 5
I served it on top of a creamy white bean dip and topped it with the remaining garlic butter and a crunchy celery topping.
