It didn't say what type of turkey sausage to buy. The only one I could find at the store was the Jenny O breakfast turkey sausage. Next time I will just use regular sausage. It seems like since the Jenny Ella sausage was already seasoned, that it was too much seasoning on the sausage. In addition, I will cut back on the cumin next time. The cumin was a little more powerful than I enjoyed. I sauteed garlic Scapes and onion, then added the meat. Toward the end of when the meat was cooked, I added the veggies. Once those were cooked down pretty well, I emptied out the liquid from the pan and added the tomato sauce and other ingredients. I let it simmer for about 20 or 30 minutes.
