Instructions

Step 1
Put the minced meat, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, ketjap manis, salt, pepper, sesame oil, Chinese cabbage, spring onions together in a bowl. Knead to a nice filling.
Step 2
Now we are going to fill the gyoza sheets. We do this by putting a little filling on the middle of the sheet. Then fold the gyoza in your own way. Tip: there are many videos on youtube on how to fold the dumplings exactly.
Step 3
Now make sure you have two pans. A pan with a layer of vegetable oil (for frying the bottom of the dumpling) and a pan with a lid (where we are going to steam the dumplings).
Step 4
Heat the oil for frying in the pan. And deep-fry the bottom of the dumplings until crispy.
Step 5
Then move the dumplings to the other pan. You put a little water in the pan, and then immediately put the lid on the pan, so that the dumplings can steam. This takes 2 minutes.
Step 6
Now remove the lid from the pan and let the dumplings fry dry for 1 minute. So that the bottom remains crispy.
Step 7
Now serve the dumplings with a little mayonnaise, sriracha and spring onions on top. And enjoy!
