Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325. Put the butter in a mid-sized pot and heat over medium until it melts and the water boils out.
Step 2
Stir the butter as it starts to brown, to keep the milk solids from sticking to the bottom.
Step 3
When the butter is just browning and smelling like caramel, whisk in the cocoa powder.
Step 4
Let the cocoa boil for a minute then take the pot off the heat.
Step 5
Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk, then the powdered sugar until fully dissolved. Milk solids likely will not dissolve
Step 6
Whisk in the salt, vanilla, molasses (you can drizzle in the molasses), and egg yolk
Step 7
Whisk in the flour
Step 8
Pour in pan and bake 30-40 minutes
