Ingredients
4 servings
1 poundground beef
or turkey
1 x 28 ozcan diced tomatoes
½ cupchopped onion
¼ cupcelery
chopped
¼ cupgreen bell pepper
chopped
⅛ cupchili powder
1 teaspoonground cumin
¼ teaspoongarlic powder
½ teaspoonsalt
⅛ teaspoonground black pepper
¼ teaspoonoregano
¼ teaspoonwhite sugar
1can black beans
or red, drained and rinsed
Instructions
Step 1
Place beef in a large deep skillet. Cook over med-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
Step 2
Add all ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
