Instructions

Step 1
Add the olive oil to a large pan over a medium-high heat. Add the carrot, onion, tomato paste, garlic powder and paprika.
Step 2
Cook for 5 minutes, until softened. Then, add the fresh tomatoes and cook for a few minutes more.
Step 3
Now add the tempeh and cook for 5 minutes, until lightly browned. Next, add the diced tomatoes, vegetable stock, nutritional yeast and coconut sugar.
Step 4
Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. At the end, add the lemon juice and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with pasta of your choice.
